Although SMART Public Safety Software was incorporated in 1998, we began operations late in 1996 as a start-up business to develop a new law enforcement software package from scratch.  After installing the first beta version in a handful of Iowa agencies, we quickly progressed by designing a full suite of well-rounded software modules.  Each year of our existence, SMART has earned the privilege of serving increasingly larger agencies.  We have attracted a staff with impressive credentials, and are extremely well-positioned for growth.  We are proud of our high level of customer satisfaction with our software, and we have an excellent customer service reputation.  SMART has earned considerable attention and credibility nationwide, as one of just a handful of companies in our market to have successfully completed software installations at the local, state and federal levels.
