NCIC INTERFACE

SMART provides a 2-way interface with the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) to put information in the hands of those who need it – when they need it.  Available in either query only or submission and query versions, SMART’s NCIC interface connects your personnel to national, state and local computer indices of criminal justice information.  Our NCIC module integrates seamlessly with CAD, RMS, Mobile and Jail, allowing users to run appropriate NCIC queries directly from the module they are using.  We don’t need to tell you that with this information at the fingertips of your officers and investigators, you can streamline your processes and increase the efficiency of everyone involved.

CAD MAPPING

SMART provides a full-featured, professional-level desktop mapping package specifically tailored for 9-1-1 emergencies.  This software features instantaneous call plotting of wireline, wireless Phase I and Phase II calls.  Our map displays the caller’s location on the map, clearly showing caller name, address, and responding agency data along with additional information extracted from the map, such as property access points and physical structure locations.  When calls are added from CAD, they appear instantly on the map; when calls are closed in CAD they disappear automatically from the map.  The user is able to control the map from the CAD user interface.
