Bob joined the company in 1999 and brings with him over 25 years experience to the software solutions development marketplace.  Under his leadership, SMART has increased its focus on its core product line while expanding the company’s sales territories.  Bob’s career with SMART began in 1999 when he assumed the Project Director position.  Bob was responsible for management of the Sales and Sales Support staff in addition to developing new customer relationships and strategic alliances with other businesses in the law enforcement marketplace.  

Prior to joining SMART, Bob was Vice President of Research and Development with Microware Systems Corporation in Des Moines, Iowa. Microware's business involved the development, sales and marketing of real-time operating system software. He managed teams responsible for the design and timely delivery of software and was instrumental in developing several key relationships with optical and networking companies in North America, Europe, and Asia.  

Bob has lead the company since 2005 and has been instrumental in taking SMART to the next level, while positioning the company for continued growth.
