Nick has had the pleasure of serving in public safety at the private, local, state and federal levels for over 21 years. In his career he has held positions as Special Agent in Drug Enforcement, Chief Investigator and Chief Deputy Sheriff, and he has been assigned to federal task forces in law enforcement. Nick was also a partner/owner for a security services & security consulting firm called National Security Enforcement, which serviced both private and public sectors.  

For the last 10 years, Nick has been heavily involved in the public safety software industry as a partner/owner and in executive management, dealing in projects ranging in size from two users at the county level up to statewide, federal and overseas projects. Nick’s primary focus at SMART is to lead the Sales and Marketing team in solid and controlled growth, expanding SMART’s market share to the level expected of a leading provider of cutting-edge technology.

Nick, along with all other members of the SMART team, feels an obligation to provide all public safety agencies the latest tools in technology to increase officer safety and improve the well being of the citizens they serve.
